Using cranes in remote areas (either on-shore or off-shore) is costly and requires a long preparation time with inflexible contracts set a long-time in advance. Wheeled cranes or heli-cranes are costly to purchase or hire and are rarely available rapidly, and of course operational expenditure is high.
Aerial remotely piloted cranes (ARPC) will be far less costly and therefore more rapidly available compared to the current generation of cranes systems.
Neva Modular Air Crane System designs (Eole-I modules) are scalable and adaptable to specific distance and payload requirements. They are transportable, can be packed & assembled by operators on the ground or on boats, or can auto-assemble once unpacked and charged.
Battery life time is a known issue that we have addressed. Our systems will reload automatically and/or refuel in the air with modules that provide extra battery life.
